Clearview Library District Closed for Thanksgiving

The Clearview Library District will be closed Thursday,  November 25, 2021 in observance of Thanksgiving Day.  

The Windsor Severance Library, 720 3rd St. Windsor, will close at 6pm on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. 

The Windsor Severance Library will resume normal operations on Friday, November 26, 2021. The bookmobile is off the road from November 22 through November 26 and will resume normal operations on Monday, November 29.

Clearview Library District and Town of Windsor Partner to Acquire Online Job, Marketing Resource

The Clearview Library District and Town of Windsor partnered to acquire the online resource AtoZdatabases, a job search and marketing reference / mailing platform. AtoZdatabases is an ideal tool for sales leads, mailing lists, market research, employment opportunities, and more. All information is triple verified by the company. “The town’s sponsorship and partnership with the Clearview Library District allows us to continue to invest in our business community,” said Town of Windsor Economic Development Director Stacy Miller.

Clearview Library District to Kick Off Animal-Themed Summer Reading Program June 1

The Clearview Library District will kick off its annual summer reading program, Summer Adventure, with an Animal Fair at 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, at the Windsor History Museum. Registration for Summer Adventure Program is now open at clearviewlibrary.org/sap. With the theme “Tales and Tails,” Summer Adventure Program will run from June 1 through July 30 and will focus on animals and stories. Participants will have a chance to complete five hands-on activities or reading challenges, tailored to each age group.

The Clearview Library District Board of Trustees seeks Owner’s Representation / Project Management services for three projects, which are anticipated to run concurrently, as follows:
Item 1. The study, design, construction, and opening of a new district branch library of approximately 10,000 sq. ft.
Item 2. The renovation of the current library at 720 Third St. in Windsor
Item 3. The renovation of an existing office building as a central services hub for the library district
