Libraries work best when they’re connected—to people, ideas, and resources. By joining the Marmot Library Network, Clearview is expanding access to shared collections, offering a smarter and easier-to-use catalog, and strengthening system support and security—all while keeping our focus on serving the local community and the people who rely on their library every day.

Key Dates to Know

System Conversion/Library District Closure: Monday, February 9, 2026 (all day)

New System Live: Tuesday, February 10, 2026

What Is the Marmot Library Network?

The Marmot Library Network is a nonprofit, member-driven library consortium built by libraries, for libraries. Marmot helps libraries work together to share resources, technology, and expertise.

By joining the Marmot Library Network, Clearview connects you to a larger community of libraries across Colorado—making it easier to find, request, and access the materials you’re looking for.

What This Means for Library Patrons:

  • More to explore: Search and request from a wider shared collection of books, movies, and digital materials from libraries across Colorado.
  • Easier requesting: Use one shared catalog to find items, place holds, and pick them up at your local library.
  • Smarter searching: Browse a more user-friendly catalog that brings together different formats—such as print, eBooks, and audiobooks—so it’s easier to find the option that works best for you.
  • Reliable and secure access: Benefit from systems designed to be dependable and secure over the long term, helping protect your library account and personal information.
  • Better digital experiences: Enjoy more streamlined access to eBooks and audiobooks across the network.

Important Updates

After the new system goes live on February 10, patrons will be prompted to update their password the first time they log in to their Clearview Library District account.

What you need to do:

  • Log in after February 10 and follow the prompts to update your password.
  • Create a strong password that is at least 8 characters long and uses a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.

Please complete this update within three months of February 10, 2026. If you do not update your password within this timeframe, you will need to reset it online or contact the library for assistance.

Password Reset

Following the migration, all patrons will need to reset their passwords. Please use the instructions linked here to guide you through the process.

Your default library account password is a combination of the first 4 letters of your last name (lowercase) and the last 4 digits of your phone number. If you do not have a phone number associated with your library account, your default password is the first 4 letters of your last name (lowercase) and the last 4 digits of your library card number.

If either of these options are unsuccessful, please contact the library at 970-686-5603 to set a new password.

Digital Resources
