Libraries are full of stories in a variety of formats, from picture books to large print, audiobooks to ebooks, and more. But there's so much more to the story. Libraries of Things lend items like museum passes, games, musical instruments, and tools. Library programming brings communities together for entertainment, education, and connection through book clubs, storytimes, movie nights, crafting classes, and lectures.

Clearview Library District Seeks New Dungeon Master for Teen D&D Program

The Clearview Library District is on a quest, and it needs a Dungeon Master to lead the way.

The Windsor Library is recruiting a DM to take the helm of its popular Teen Dungeons & Dragons program. The ideal candidate is an adult who brings a love of storytelling, a sense of humor, and the patience to guide first-time players through their very first roll of the dice. Applicants from the Windsor, Severance, and West Greeley areas are encouraged to apply.

Clearview Library District Opens New Gallery Space at Severance Library

The Clearview Library District is proud to introduce a new art gallery at the Severance Library, expanding opportunities for local artists and community members to connect through visual storytelling.

The new gallery features two dedicated display spaces: the north wall near the booth seating area and the wall along the Aspen and Pine meeting rooms. The first exhibit opened in April and will remain on display through June 2026 during regular Severance Library hours.

History Exhibition Coming to Windsor and Severance This Spring

The Clearview Library District and Town of Windsor Museums are teaming up to host Moments That Made US, a special, free exhibition as part of the America 250–Colorado 150 commemoration. Beginning April 13, 2026, community members can visit four local venues, each offering a unique exhibition theme that connects local history to the broader national story.

The Clearview Library District is excited to announce the release of this Request for Proposal ("RFP") for Strategic Planning Consulting Services. This RFP is issued to engage qualified consultants to facilitate the development of a new, sustainable five-year strategic plan that focuses on programming, outreach, facilities, and innovative services.

New Hours at Severance Library

The Clearview Library District is updating the operating hours at the Severance Library. Beginning Monday, April 6, 2026, the library will open at 10 a.m. Monday through Thursday.

We know even small changes can affect your routine, and we're here to help you plan your next visit.

Only Monday through Thursday hours are changing. Friday and Saturday hours remain the same, and the library will continue to be closed on Sundays. Windsor Library hours will stay the same.

Award-Winning Author Joel H. Morris to Headline Clearview Reads 2026

Colorado Book Award winner brings his debut historical novel to Windsor and Severance this April.

Northern Colorado readers will have a rare chance to sit down with a nationally recognized author this spring when the Clearview Library District Friends and Foundation hosts Clearview Reads 2026, a two-day literary event April 17–18 featuring Colorado Book Award winner Joel H. Morris.

Got Seeds? Contribute to our Seed Bank Binder!

Did you know you can donate seeds you no longer need to the library? The Clearview Library District hosts two Seed Bank Binders--one at the Windsor Library and another at the Severance Library--maintained through donated seeds.

As you are starting seeds for your gardens this spring, consider donating your leftovers to the library! Simply place your extra seeds in a sealed and labeled container and drop them off at the front desk at either location. The Adult Services team will distribute them into smaller packets to fill the binder.

Improving Our Community Spaces: Pikes Peak Meeting Room Renovation

As part of the Clearview Library District’s ongoing efforts to improve and modernize community spaces, the Pikes Peak Meeting Room at the Windsor Library will undergo renovations beginning Feb. 2, 2026. The overall renovation project is scheduled from Jan. 30 to April 15, 2026, with work expected to be completed over an estimated 2-month period.
