Interests: Fantasy books, cozy video games, TTRPGs, and hiking/camping.

Favorite Book: I can't choose a favorite but I have a top three: This is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar, The Last Unicorn by Peter Beagle, and the Fullmetal Alchemist  Series by Hiromu Arakawa.

Favorite Book: It's a tie between Annihilation by Jeff Vandermeer and The Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury!  

Preferred Superpower: The ability to master any hobby immediately. 

Clearview Library District Plans for New Leadership

After Library Director Ann Kling retired on July 31, 2024, the Clearview Library District is in the process of transitioning its leadership. Beth Fransen, who had served as the IT/Technical Services Manager since March 2022, was appointed by the Library Board to serve as the Interim Library Director, starting her term on July 10, 2024.

An adventurous globetrotter hailing from Wisconsin, Beth is excited to lead the Library District during this transition.

Favorite Book: Impossible to pick! Haunting of Hill House, NOS4A2, The Shining & Doctor Sleep, The October Country, Something Wicked This Way Comes and currently enjoying the ACOTAR series.
