The Clearview Board of Trustees would like to invite you to meet the candidates for our potential new Library Director. After Library Director Ann Kling retired on July 31, 2024, the Clearview Library District is in the process of transitioning its leadership. Beth Fransen, who had served as the IT/Technical Services Manager since March 2022, was appointed by the Library Board to serve as the Interim Library Director, starting her term on July 10, 2024.
An adventurous globetrotter hailing from Wisconsin, Beth is excited to lead the Library District during this transition.

After over 12 years of dedicated service, Director Ann Kling will retire from the Clearview Library District. Her tenure will conclude on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. Originally from Buffalo, N.Y., Ann Kling joined the Library District in 2011.

The Board of Trustees of the Clearview Library District seeks an innovative and strategic Director who can build on the Library’s tradition of outstanding customer service. Qualified candidates will have a Master’s in Library Science, or equivalent, from an American Library Association (ALA) accredited institution and have five years of supervisory and management experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
