Celebrate National Library Week April 23-29, 2023: There's More to the Story
Libraries are full of stories in a variety of formats, from picture books to large print, audiobooks to ebooks, and more. But there's so much more to the story. Libraries of Things lend items like museum passes, games, musical instruments, and tools. Library programming brings communities together for entertainment, education, and connection through book clubs, storytimes, movie nights, crafting classes, and lectures. Library infrastructure advances communities, providing internet and technology access, literacy skills, and support for businesses, job seekers, and entrepreneurs. National Library Week 2023 will be a great time to tell your library’s multi-faceted story.

Come celebrate the completion of the library remodel from 1:30-3:00 pm at the Windsor-Severance Library in our Large Meeting Room. Find out more.
Monday, April 24: Fandom Day - Show your love for the library!
Wear clothing or accessories with hearts and books. Stop by the library and share your fandom with us! We will have a standing photo booth area for you to take a picture with the materials you love in the library you love.
Tuesday, April 25: Tropical Tuesday
Explore the World with books and resources! Dress for your dream vacation or be a tacky tourist.
Wednesday, April 26: Western Wednesday - Wild for Reading
Dress in your western attire and share your favorite books or movies about westerns or life in Colorado!
Thursday, April 27: Throwback Thursday - Libraries Rock
Share what makes you a rockstar reader and showcase your retro looks!
Friday, April 28: Favorite Book Character Day
Dress up as a character from your favorite book!
Saturday, April 29: Superhero Saturday
Wear your favorite superhero apparel, and share your favorite superhero resources from the library.
