We are thrilled to introduce our new and intuitive library catalog system, Pika! Designed to enhance your search and browsing experience, Pika offers an intuitive interface that makes discovering new and relevant materials a breeze.

What's new with Pika?

Content Enrichment: Pika now includes content from various services to enrich your catalog experience. You'll find a wealth of information right at your fingertips.

More Like This: Discover related materials for every item, including movies and music. Simply click on an item to explore its catalog listing and find similar titles.

Patron-Specific Recommendations: Get personalized recommendations based on titles you've rated. Explore a world of tailored suggestions just for you!

But wait, there's more!

Series Titles: Unsure which book comes next in the series you're reading? Pika can help. Using series information from NovelList, Pika displays other books in a series when viewing a title.

Keep Your Reading History: You can keep a list of items you have checked out, even after you have returned them. From the time you have enabled “My Reading History,” a list of items you have checked out will be saved for you to view.

Linking Accounts: Linking accounts lets patrons view all checked-out items and holds across their accounts. You can place and cancel holds, view fines, and see checkout history. This is great for students with school and public library accounts or families with multiple accounts at the same library.

eBooks: Pika is fully integrated with our digital platforms like Overdrive (Libby) and Hoopla and allows patrons to check out and place holds on titles directly from search results. Patrons can view checkouts and holds on their account pages, while past titles appear in their reading history.

Request Materials: Materials Request functionality allows patrons to request materials that the library does not currently own.

Our current online catalog will transition to the new Pika system on October 15, 2024. Need assistance? Click here to contact us. Happy exploring!
