Discover Our New Art Gallery Exhibit at Severance Library, July 2026

The Clearview Library District is delighted to unveil a brand new exhibit in the art gallery space at our Severance Library. You will find the display along the north wall nearest the booth seating, as well as the walls closest to the Aspen and Pine meeting rooms.

This exhibit celebrates the wonderful work of three local artists.

Michael Safran's vibrant acrylics blend natural and geometric designs into something entirely his own. Safran points to music as the foundation of his work, "translated in tones, movement, symmetry and organization on the canvas."

Joan Utley's mixed media pieces highlight the beauty of nature, drawing inspiration from the many mediums she loves to work in.

And Griffin Petri's charming watercolors reflect his passion for the outdoors, with a special love for fishing.

We warmly invite community members to come explore the exhibit during regular business hours, now through early October 2026.

A special thank you to Courtney Harris, our Adult Services Supervising Librarian, whose hard work coordinating and implementing both the Quiet Space art and the Severance Art Gallery brought these exhibits to life. We are so grateful, Courtney!

A quick reminder: the Quiet Space art gallery is on a temporary hiatus through the end of 2026 while the Moments that Made US history exhibit is on display in that space. We hope you will take time to visit both our Windsor and Severance Libraries to experience each of these wonderful exhibits!
