Games and activities on a table

The Clearview Library District welcomes the opportunity to serve patrons of all abilities. We are committed to making our programs, services, and facilities accessible to all.

The Windsor Library provides in-library use kits as an enrichment resource specifically curated for adult day programs and other adult patrons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These kits are not for check out and are only intended for use inside the library.

The boxes contain a variety of items that may include:

  • Sound muffling headphones/earmuffs
  • Sensory toys
  • Games
  • Puzzles
  • Assorted fidgets

How to Request a Kit

Visit the front desk and ask a staff member for an Adult In-Library Use Kit. Kits are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once you have the box, you are welcome to use it anywhere in the library, including meeting rooms

When you finish with a kit, please replace all items and return it to the front desk.

Feedback and Suggestions

Each kit includes a folder with paper surveys. The survey is intended to gather feedback, and to report missing or damaged items. There are no penalties for missing or damaged items, we just want to ensure the kits are working properly. We appreciate any feedback you would like to share!
