Check Out Our New Book Club Kits
Have you always wanted to start your own book club, but had trouble ensuring all your members got a copy of the book on time? Starting in October, the Clearview Library District will be rolling out a brand new collection for our patrons to try out: Book Club Kits! Located right past our audiobook CD collection, you’ll find them on shelving in neatly marked, clear plastic tubs. Each kit will contain 11 copies of a selected book, as well as a binder filled with helpful supplemental materials like discussion questions, author bios, tracking sheets, and fact sheets providing background information and additional reading and viewing suggestions.
Our Book Clubs Kits will checkout for a period of 6 weeks, with the option of a renewal if there are no holds placed on the kit. For our initial roll out, we will have kits for the following titles:
- Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Gamus
- The Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles
- The Lincoln Highway by Amor Towles
- Maus: A Survivor’s Tale by Art Spiegelman
We’ll also be adding new titles to our collection on a regular basis. For more information feel free to ask a library staff member or check out our Book Club Kit section of our For Adults page for updates.
