Local Artists Featured in New Windsor Library Gallery Exhibit
The Clearview Library District has opened a new art exhibit in the Quiet Space gallery at the Windsor Library, showcasing the work of five local artists now through the end of the year. The exhibit features a wide range of styles, from peaceful landscapes to bold acrylics, and highlights the creative talent found across the Windsor community.
The fall and winter installation includes artwork from Ashley Greenwald, Kian and Kale Frederick, Michael Safran, and Connor Foley. According to the library’s programming team, the exhibit was curated to offer a blend of themes that appeal to many artistic tastes and reflect Windsor’s creative diversity.
Greenwald’s oil on canvas paintings bring lush greenery and calming scenery to the gallery, each created in her home studio. Siblings Kian and Kale Frederick add a youthful perspective through photography that captures snapshots of Windsor life. Safran’s vibrant acrylics draw inspiration from what he describes as the pure geometry of nature and music, blending bold shapes with bright color. Foley presents a darker style through haunting acrylic and oil paintings that showcase his specialty in dark art.
The Quiet Space gallery exhibit is free to the public and will remain on display during regular Windsor Library hours through December 2025. Local artists interested in being featured in a future gallery installation are encouraged to complete the public art submission form and email it to courtney@clearviewlibrary.org, or pick up a printed copy at the front desk.
"We love giving local artists a platform to share their work," said Courtney, Adult Services Supervising Librarian. "This season’s pieces offer something for everyone, and we hope our patrons feel inspired by what they see."
