Staff Spotlight: Sarah Strawn

Each month, we spotlight one of the friendly staff faces you'll run into at the Windsor Library, Severance Library, or aboard the Bookmobile.

Hometown: I grew up primarily in Hawaii but have since lived in Missouri, Nebraska, and Colorado!  I have found that home exists where and when you need it most, which changes as you grow.

Interests: Reading, Video games, Crafting, Pets, Walking/Hiking. 

Favorite Book: In 2024 my goal is to finish a new book every week, so this answer is constantly changing. My favorite genres are biographies, fantasy, and romance.

Preferred Superpower: Pathokinesis. I want to help everyone find some inner peace and joy.

Favorite Author: My favorite book author depends on which of their books we are discussing. My favorite poet is Robert Frost.

Favorite Vacation Spot: Visiting family members and anywhere with forest hiking or ocean access.

What three people (dead or alive) would you invite to a dinner party? Amelia Earhart, Oliver Sacks, Princess Diana.
