Each month we spotlight one of the friendly staff faces you’ll run into at the Windsor-Severance Library or on the bookmobile.

Hometown: I was born in Indianapolis, IN but my hometown is Parker, CO.

Interests: Lakes and being on the water, books (especially contemporary literary fiction and memoirs), my kids (my three-year-old twins are the apple of my eye), basketball, and dogs.

Favorite Book: The books that made the biggest impact on me are The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri, The Life of Pi by Yann Martel, and Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides.

Preferred Superpower: Definitely teleportation.

Favorite Author: Some favorites are Jeffrey Eugenides, Jhumpa Lahiri, and Ann Patchett. I also like poetry and appreciate the following poets: Kate Baer, Mary Oliver, Brad Vogler, and Anne Lamott.

Favorite Vacation Spot: Estes Park, Cinque Terre, Italy, or somewhere beachy.

What three people (dead or alive) would you invite to a dinner party? My sister. I don't need two other people -- she's the only company I would need to complete the perfect dinner party.

Favorite Quote: "Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul. And sings the song without the words and never stops at all." - Emily Dickinson

Job at the Library: Public Services Manager. I oversee the phenomenal teams that implement our programs and mobile services for the library. It's a wonderful, fulfilling job.
