Staff Spotlight: Beth Gallinger
Each month we spotlight one of the friendly staff faces you’ll run into at the Windsor-Severance Library or on the bookmobile.
Hometown: La Crosse, WI
Interests: Travel, adventure, skiing, running, beaches, museums, libraries, mountain climbing, hiking, home remodeling, friends, family and having fun!
Favorite Book: I have so many but I mostly read kids books these days. Should I Share Ice Cream by Mo Willems or any funny autobiography.
Preferred Superpower: Teleportation
Favorite Author: Mo Willems
Favorite Vacation Spot: I would like to see the world so this is a hard one. I've been to many amazing places but my favorite places are always where you can make connections with people.
What three people (dead or alive) would you invite to a dinner party? Michelle and Barack Obama, Grandma Mabel and Grandpa Fransen (I know that’s 4 but I couldn’t narrow it down any further).
Favorite Quote:
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
