A crime has been committed just before your birthday party. Someone has broken into the party room and all of the birthday party supplies are a mess! We need your help as a crime scene investigator and forensic scientist to process the evidence and help us solve the mystery of who did it!
In your take home kit you will find photos of a crime scene. You will learn how to check for fingerprints, measure footprints, analyze handwriting, and check bite marks from the eaten cake! Use your “forensics” kit to learn and practice these procedures. Then use the results to solve the crime and join us on Zoom (Wednesday, April 21) to see if you solved the mystery!
Please register separately for each participant that you would like to have a kit. Kits will be available for pick up beginning Wednesday, April 14. To pick up your kit you can either call the library ahead of time and arrange Library Takeout, or you may come into the library to pick up your kit.
We will gather on ZOOM to talk about how we solved this mystery on Wednesday, April 21 from 6:30-7:00 p.m. The solution to the mystery will be announced at 7:00 p.m. Once you have registered for the program, we will send you a link to join the Zoom meeting a few days before the actual meeting on April 21.
