Teens, are you ready to sleep with the lights on? Join your friends for our online scary book club exclusively for teens (ages 12-18). We’ll be exploring the book, Rotters by Daniel Kraus, every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. from October 6 through November 17.
Grave-robbing. Who would do such a demented thing? Certainly not high schooler Joey. But then his mom dies and he finds himself living with his dad in rural Iowa...a man with unimaginable secrets. Joey’s life is turned upside down in this macabre novel.
Kits for this online program will be available for curbside pickup at the Windsor-Severance Library beginning October 1 and will include a free copy of the book, as well as supplies for activities and crafts that will take place during the program. To pick up your kit you can either call the library ahead of time and arrange Library Takeout, or you may come into the library to pick up your kit.
Please note that this program is registration-based only. Once you have registered for the program, we will send you a link to join the book club via Zoom.
All Grim Readers (and their guardians) are invited to join us for a Cemetery Tour at the Lakeview Cemetery in Windsor with Katherine Mercier from the Town of Windsor on November 3 from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
It is going to be cold for the tour, so dress warmly! Please wear a warm jacket, gloves, and comfortable, closed-toe shoes, as we will be walking across uneven ground. Masks are recommended for walking between sites, but not required as we will be outdoors and can stay socially distanced.
For questions, please contact Amy at email@example.com.
