1. The printers are tools at the library. Use of the 3D Printer is subject to all Clearview Library District policy.
2. 3D prints should involve some common sense. Users will not be permitted to use the Library's 3D printer to create material that is:
3. Don't steal. Printed objects must not infringe upon any third party's intellectual property rights. By submitting content or objects, the user agrees to assume all responsibility for, and shall hold the library harmless in, all matters related to patented, trademarked, or copyrighted materials.
4. 3D tools and software can be buggy and unreliable. The library is not responsible for any damage, loss, or security of data arising from the use of its computers, equipment or network, nor for the functionality or quality of content produced on the 3D printer.
5. We print what you send us. Thats all. Some prints require the use of supports and rafts for the print to come out successfully. Responsibility for removing rafts and supports is up to the user. The library cannot guarantee model quality or stability, or confidentiality of designs.
6. Only designated library staff and volunteers will have direct access to the 3D printer.
7. The Library reserves the right to refuse any 3D print request.
8. We have a limited number of colors. You can choose your top two preferred colors, but the ultimate choice of color is at the discretion of library staff. The prints use PLA, which is biodegradable plastic.

2. View the Resources information below, and links to 3D models and software design options.
3.Design or save a file in .stl format
4.Email the .stl file to 3dprint@clearviewlibrary.org
5.Include your top two choices for your single color print. Current options (which may change frequently) are: White, Green, Blue.
6. You will then be added to the print queue. There is no guarantee when your print will be ready, but we will contact you via e-mail when the model is ready to be picked up. If you have other questions feel free to contact michael@clearviewlibrary.org
Final fee structure will be determined in the near future, but in the mean time, printing costs are free of charge. Submit your files soon to take full advantage!
