Creating Beautiful Garments with Llama and Alpaca Fleece

Llamas and Alpacas provide wonderful soft, lightweight, warm fleece than can be used in many ways. In this workshop we will discuss and demonstrate ways to utilize this luxurious fleece to make beautiful scarves, shawls, hats, and socks in natural and hand-dyed colors. Irish Landscapes and Stones: An American’s Evolving Art Quilts

Denise Labadie is an internationally recognized contemporary Fiber Artist and Art Quilter. She will host a 45 minute presentation to discuss her interest in advanced fabric painting and understanding the use of shadowing and perspective. This is a casual presentation wherein questions are not only welcome but requested.
