Join us to see cool science in action! Children and tweens in K-8th grade are invited to become a scientist and participate in a variety of fun science experiments at this weekly afternoon drop-in event held on Mondays from 3:00-4:30pm. As participation is on a drop-in basis, please note that experiments will last for approximately 10-30 minutes. No registration is required.

Monday, March 13th – Disappearing Glass Rods: Get weird with us! Now you see it…now you don’t! Let’s learn about reflection and refraction, and make glass objects disappear this week!
Monday, March 20th – Corner Reflector and After Image: Get weird with us! Two hinged mirrors create a kaleidoscope; add a third mirror and you create a reflector! Want to learn how to create an image that momentarily lingers in your eye? Find out how this week as we have some fun with mirrors and optical illusions!
Monday, March 27th – Electrical Fleas: Get weird with us! Ladies and gentlemen, step right up! This week we’ll learn about static electricity and start our own electric flea circus!
