Each month we spotlight one of the friendly staff faces you’ll run into at the Windsor-Severance Library or on the bookmobile.

Hometown: Fairbanks, Alaska

Interests: Dogs, especially my own (Rollie the Basenji); outdoor activities (hiking, walking, jogging, cycling, etc.); spending time with family & friends; watching true crime shows; reading, painting, and learning new skills.

Favorite Book: I have two, each of which made a lasting impression on me when I was younger, and they have stayed with me since then, The Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J. K. Rowling.

Preferred Superpower: Teleportation to anywhere, including the ability to take a carry-on. After all, who doesn't want to cut down on travel time?

Favorite Author: Jodi Picoult

Favorite Vacation Spot: At my aunt and uncle's farm in southern Wisconsin. There I always enjoy good company and am at peace.

What three people (dead or alive) would you invite to a dinner party? John Oliver, my grandfather (who passed away in 1993, and I miss him terribly), and Audrey Hepburn (in addition to being an actress I admire, she was quite the human rights activist).

Favorite Quote: Whether you think you can, or you think you can't – you're right." - Henry Ford

Job at the Library: Communications Specialist
